Salternative Spa | Geneva, Illinois

Pay: $45/hour for massage services + tips
Additional paid hours: $18/hour for scheduled front desk/guest experience duties

Salternative Spa is a growing luxury wellness spa in Geneva, Illinois. We are looking for a Licensed Massage Therapist who is passionate about providing excellent treatments and creating a genuinely elevated guest experience.

We welcome both experienced and newly licensed therapists.

• $45 per treatment hour for massage services
• Massage pay is prorated by treatment length:
• • 30 minutes: $22.50
  • 60 minutes: $45
  • 90 minutes: $67.50
  • 120 minutes: $90
• Tips are additional
• Optional scheduled non-treatment/front desk hours paid at $18/hour

Provide customised massage treatments based on each guest’s individual needs, preferences and goals.

Treatments may include:

• Swedish massage
• Deep tissue massage
• Therapeutic massage
• Trigger point techniques
• Myofascial techniques
• Assisted stretching

You will also provide thoughtful consultations, maintain professional treatment notes and prepare treatment rooms to Salternative Spa standards.

Required:

• Current Illinois Massage Therapy Licence
• Professional, dependable and guest-focused
• Strong massage technique and understanding of anatomy
• Ability to tailor treatments to each guest
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety and professional standards

Newly licensed therapists are encouraged to apply.

Additional training in areas such as prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, sports massage, cupping, hot stone massage or other advanced modalities is a bonus, but not required.

Salternative Spa offers therapists the opportunity to work in a luxury, independent spa environment where treatments can be personalised rather than delivered through a rigid one-size-fits-all approach.

We provide the treatment environment, equipment, linens and products, while our front desk team supports bookings, payments and the overall guest experience.

As the spa grows, there will also be opportunities for therapists to develop their expertise, introduce additional modalities and build long-term relationships with regular guests.
